Install an Automatic Tiling Window Manager
To organize your desktop in a way that matches Linux or Windows, you’ll need a proper window manager, such as yabai. In short, yabai manages the windows that you have on your system automatically so that everything is organized perfectly.
Unfortunately, to allow yabai to work, you have to disable two features of macOS System Integrity Protection (SIP). Doing so is quite minor from a security standpoint, and you’re only disabling them on your second (work) macOS installation, so it won’t affect your personal installation of macOS.
Once these two features are disabled, you’ll also notice a dramatic speed improvement when using macOS (for this reason alone, many macOS power users choose to disable it).
Follow these steps to disable these two features of SIP:
Power down your computer and then boot it while holding down the Command (⌘) + R key combination to enter recovery mode.
Log into your second installation of macOS when prompted.
Select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Next, type the following command (ignore any warnings) and reboot normally afterwards:
csrutil enable --without debug --without fs

IT Hall of Fame Welcomes Bob Stegner
As the son of a small-business owner, Bob Stegner knows full well the trials and tribulations it takes for SMBs to be successful. In many cases, he’s lived them.
“I’ve heard all the horror stories from my dad. One time he came home and said to my mom, ‘Mary Lou, I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is we made payroll this week. The bad news is we’re not on it,’” Stegner said.
Those experiences stuck with him and served as a foundation of knowledge that’s helped carry him through a 30-year career in the tech channel, with major stops along the way at Sarcom (now part of Insight Enterprises), Ingram Micro, and SYNNEX. Now, those three decades inspiration and perspiration have culminated in Stegner’s induction into the IT Hall of Fame, an honor bestowed at ChannelCon Online.
Todd Thibodeaux, CompTIA CEO, noted that IT Hall of Fame inductees have typically been elected as pioneers, innovators or leadership. Stegner, he said, exemplifies all three traits.
“He’s been a pioneer, bringing a sharp focus to the SMB market. He’s been an innovator of new and creative sales and marketing strategies. And he’s been a leader and a mentor to thousands of individuals and companies. Thank you Bob and congratulations on being elected to the IT Hall of Fame,” Thibodeaux said in an acceptance video played during ChannelCon Online.

CompTIA’s published objectives for your Exam
This is the first step. The exam objectives for CompTIA A+ can be found here. A+ requires candidates to pass two exams, 220-1001 (Core 1) and 220-1002 (Core 2). Download the objectives for the test(s) you need. Read them completely before you begin, and you will get substantial insight to guide your effort.
When you review the Objectives, you’ll see that they are arranged by main domains that contain sub-domains and topics. They also show what percentage of the examination each domain represents. Here are the 220-1002 Core 2 Main Domains.A+ 220-1002 Exam Main Domains and relative weight at the examination.
You can see four main domains. Within each domain are subdomains that contain the topic points. Use the topics to target your studies. The Core 2 objectives alone are 19 pages long It is a good idea to print these for quick reference since there are over 30 sub-objectives that are all loaded with topics. Here’s a small chunk of the Core 2 Objective 1.0 Operating Systems. You will see the sub-domains shown here are numbered as 1.1,1.2,1.3 etc… This is where you should concentrate. The objectives are written in a manner that provides some perspective as to what they’re looking for.
Now on to accuracy. Let’s say a certification has a grade range of 100 to 900 with a passing score of 700 and our brain dump author scores 750.
